Blog Post: Dawn Nowicki Honored as 2024 Distinguished Service Award Recipiant

The NACD Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2024 Distinguished Service Award will be presented to Dawn Nowicki from MRP Solutions.  Dawn has served on the Industry Advisory Council and has organized countless presentations and webinars for the NACD.

Dawn is the Vice President of Marketing and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) for MRP Solutions.  She integrates market/customer trends with MRP's strategy to drive growth through tailored solutions. With a background spanning packaging and healthcare, she has held roles in Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Marketing across Glass and Plastic Packaging sectors, previously with Owens-Illinois, Rexam, Priority Plastics, and Eli Lilly.

Dawn has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Dawn was introduced to the NACD while in the Healthcare plastic packaging group at Owens-Illinois but attended her first NACD Annual Convention in 2008 while working for Priority Plastics. Dawn has organized and presented numerous education sessions, panel discussions and webinars for NACD. She actively contributes to the Industry Advisory Council by sharing market trends, resources, and industry insights relevant to the committee's objectives. Her involvement underscores MRP's robust support for distribution and the NACD.

Dawn says "When I began my career with MRP in 2013, it became apparent that distribution was a critical piece of MRP’s business and NACD was an extremely valuable association we needed to support relentlessly." 

The NACD Board of Directors created the Distinguished Service Award to recognize an individual who has made a significant impact on the association. Each year, the Board of Directors selects an honoree.
