Blog Post: TricorBraun Wins Bernard M. Seid "Best of Show" Award for J. Rose Gin

News,

NACD proudly announces the 2024 Bernard M. Seid Best of Show Award to TricorBraun for J.Rose Gin.

TricorBraun sourced a 100% recyclable glass, pharmacy-style bottle for the rollout of the J. Rose Gin. The company was looking for a spirits bottle with a unique design as the canvas for famous Italian cartoonist Milo Manara’s specially designed imagery. The innovative label is made from wallpaper, more-traditionally used to cover walls in people’s homes; the eco-friendly inks were chosen for their GREENGUARD Gold Certification. The package is sealed with a cork that has a knife sticking in it. The knife can be removed by consumers and used as a keychain ornament. The result is a beautifully shaped and decorated bottle that stands out in a crowded gin market.

The J.Rose project aims to surprise those who like to collect art and design objects. Each item is designed to enhance the end result: keep for yourself or reuse the bottles and collect them.

The material surface of the label enhances each design giving it an effect similar to that of the ancient frescoes. In fact, the label is created from a mixture of precious raw materials such as Carrara marble and Roman travertine, marbles with which the most important works in the history of Italian art have been made such as Michelangelo's David, Love and Psyche of Canova, and the Colosseum.

The raw materials are completely recyclable and obtained from the waste of marble blocks from the quarries in Versilia. The cap is made of natural wood and is the base for the stainless steel dagger, inserted inside it. This dagger is the symbol of the brand that has made the brand recognizable even from its shadow.
