Blog Post: Announcing 2024 Supplier of the Year Award Recipients
Since 1988, the National Association of Container Distributors (NACD) has recognized excellence within the packaging industry through its annual awards ceremony. This May, during the NACD Annual Meeting in Lake Oconee, Georgia, the association recognized Hub Plastics and PHOENIX as the 2024 Suppliers of the Year.
This award, selected by competitive nomination and vote of the NACD Distributor membership, honors a supplier’s dedication to outstanding performance across nine categories. Suppliers are evaluated based on their leadership, marketing, training, technology, legislative and regulatory, communications, policies, product shipment and product support for the packaging industry.
Both of this year’s winners showcased outstanding innovation and customer focus, significantly enhancing partnerships within the distribution industry. Their commitment to training, advanced technology, and communication ensures they meet the high standards that distributors expect.
Specifically, Hub Plastics made significant investments to support customer growth over the past twelve months, upgrading machinery and adding stock molds, opening a third manufacturing plant in the St. Louis region, and introducing a new floor stock program in their Geneva, OH facility.
Brian Althoff, Director of Sales & Marketing for Hub Plastics, shared, “Hub Plastics focuses on providing our Distribution Partners the tools needed to win business together such as superior customer service, a large array of product offerings, multiple plant locations, excellent quality, easy and quick access to pricing and floor stock programs.
